Copyright notices and counter-notices

If you believe that your copyright is being infringed by content on DarkBlox.net, you may submit a DMCA notice to admin@darkblox.net.

If your content is taken down by mistake, you may submit a counter notice under the DMCA.

How to Send a DMCA Takedown Notice

Email: admin@darkblox.net

Subject: DMCA Copyright Infringement Notice

Your notice must include the following (17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3)):

  • Contact information (name and email)
  • Link(s) to the original resource(s)
  • The exact URL(s) on DarkBlox.net that you believe are infringing
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature (typing your legal name is sufficient)

If your notice is incomplete, it may not be acted upon.

What Happens After a Valid Notice

If we determine that your notice is valid, we may:

  • Remove or disable access to the content
  • Inform the user who posted the content (by forwarding your notice with your contact information)
  • Enforce our repeat infringer policy

Counter-Notice (If You Think It Was a Mistake)

Email: admin@darkblox.net

Subject: DMCA Counter-Notification

To submit a counter-notification, your counter-notification must contain the following:

  • Your contact information
  • The URL(s) in question and what was removed or disabled
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that the disabling of the material was a mistake or misidentification of the material as described in the complaint
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in the district in which your address is located (or in the United States if your address is outside of the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the notification of copyright infringement if the person is a resident of the United States or is an organization with its primary business address in the United States
  • Your physical or electronic signature

If we receive a counter-notification that is proper under the DMCA, we may contact the person who submitted the original claim and give them your counter-notification.

If the person claims that they filed a lawsuit to prevent the content from being restored, we may keep it down.

If the person filing the copyright infringement claim fails to notify us of a lawsuit within the time specified in the DMCA, we may, at our own discretion, restore the content.

Abuse of the DMCA Process
